The New Testament In The Original Greek

This is a semi-condensed version of the public domain 2005 Byzantine Textform, which was given to us by Maurice Robinson, one of the original authors, on 9/8/2016. We have cleaned up all the inconsistencies in the footnotes, ensuring they are properly aligned. In this version, all the original end footnotes discussing variations with the minority text N/A & USB compilations are left in, allowing you to see the differences between the minority texts and the pure Byzantine Textform. If you wish to have only the pure Byzantine Textform 2005/2010, you can search for "1540415589" on Amazon.

The original preface and discussions have been removed, but the original book is available on Google Books and we recommend reading those materials. This is another book in the series of books for people to own, allowing them to double-check or correct anything in the "Modern Literal Version N.T" that is not "Thus saith the Greek."

This version has been left in block verse format, but the original paragraphs are now separated by a blank line. Curly braces "{}" are used as footnotes, with "{B …" representing Byzantine variations and "{N …" representing N/A & USB variations. Standard braces "[ ]" are used for possible omissions. The "{Acts 24:6b-8a Byzantine Variant:…}" is inserted in the text, and the "{John 7:53-8:11 PA Byzantine Variant:…}" is found at the end of John 8:11.

The verse numbering was based on the 1550 Textus Receptus, and four of those verses are omitted in the Byzantine Textform. We have included the verse numbers with a footnote. The pure Byzantine Textform is the Greek text used in the Modern Literal Version, available at www.MLVbible.org. Please check the website for any future updates in electronic formats.
